Meteorological data are from the Saddle, at 3528m (11,572 ft) on Niwot Ridge. The peak wind gust information is recorded instantaneously, with a sampling interval of 5 seconds. The other measurements are one hour averages comprised of 720 samples collected at 5 second intervals.

 New model hosted by Dave Leonard. Dave says "I think the new model is maybe more accurate than the old, but its still at the mercy of the NWS initialization data, like the old one. Sometimes its incredible, others its just plain wrong. I'm not sure if its better or worse than Skysight as far as accuracy goes. They use different initialization data sets. Skysight has a far slicker interface like, you might hope for from a paid professional software team."
