The device is mounted behind the panel together with other avionics boxes. It’s connected to a FLARM display which is mounted in the panel.

Note: on 08.03.2019 the brass tail wheel was removed and replaced with a black plastic bearing wheel. -5.4 lbs.
This changed the wt and balance to a minimum pilot weight of 167 lbs with no nose ballast in.
Note: on 01.06.2020 discus lost 11 lbs of battery weight and gaining 11 lbs of useful load. 3 lbs up front and 8 lbs in the aft rack. It also gained 4 Ah of power. Pilot weight needed to solo increased from 167 lbs to 183 lbs.
