The SSB will be running a training course in the new year for those members who want to upgrade their pilots license with a commercial glider rating. This page was created to distribute information to the participants.

It looks like we have twelve members signed up to take the course. There will be three instructors and a commercial pilot to assist in teaching the ground and flight portions of the course.

Where

Ground school will be held at Paul Stoltz's office. Turn North from Baseline onto 29 St. between the Texaco and Denny's.

When

The ground school will be held each Wednesday evening at 7.00 pm, commencing on the 13 of February. The ground school will run for 4 weeks. You will also need to make 3 flights in preparation for the test.
