Operation and Location of ELT in 29J

Note that
the ELT in 29J, located behind the passenger seat under the turtle
deck, is normally left OFF to avoid false alarms while on the
ground. If you want to enable it while you are flying, "ARM" it with
the switch on the front end of the ELT (see attached). The
toggle switch has three positions:
Up = ON
Middle = OFF
Down = ARMED
The switch
is not easily viewed without a mirror, but you can easily find it with
your fingers on the end where the antenna cable connects. Switch
positions are now marked on the top. Down to ARM.
