The dry conditions in the summer month's mean that fire's can pop up all over the Colorado.  It also doesn't help that Colorado is a "battleground" state in the upcoming elections and is the subject of repeated visits by VIPs.

The FAA may issue a Temporary Flight Restiction, so please check their site for NOTAMs and give these TFRs a wide berth.

Be aware that we may have multi and single engine tankers climbing and descending through our environment. These may overfly Boulder at any altitude as they flew back to Metro to refuel/reload.  They may or may not be on field frequency as they go by. At first glance some of the single engine aircraft could easily be mistaken for a Pawnee returning from a tow, so keep those Mk 1 eyeballs peeled!
