Wave 2001/2002

These pictures were taken from my house (Webmaster) on South Boulder Road this winter. You can see lenticulars every day during winter (if it is not snowing).

View from my bed looking West as the sun rises
Tell tale signs of wave (apart from the lenticular ;-)) See how the contrails of the aircraft flying West are broken when the airplane flys through the wave. How high is that cloud? ~40k
Longs Peak at 14,000ft in the distance. This always throws a lenticular if there is any moisture around
Looking South a wall of clouds form some 15 miles back from the mountains
No I didn't get artsy here....Camera went into black and white mode by mistake
