SSB's Big Workfest and Barbecue Big Success!

Workfest 2001 was a huge success with over 40 participants in the work detail and around 50 for the barbeque afterwards. While this years workfest is history the benefits will be around for years to come.

Congratulations to all the SSB members who pitched in to work or supported the effort through the $10 maintenance fee.

At this years Workfest SSB members installed a new shack roof and new sun shade, painted oxygen cart, painted flight shack, painted sun shade and picnic tables, glider interiors cleaned, canopies polished, canopy and wing cover bungee cords replaced, lawn mower serviced, gliders polished and waxed, new radio mount in flight shack, broken window replaced, tug hanger cleaned, trees trimmed, trash hauled to dump, barbecue painted, water barrel porch replaced, inventory of future trailer repairs, Pawnee cleaned to spotless, grass mowed, new vario in 13K, new canopy cover for the Blanik, parking lot fence posts pulled, tow ropes made up, new sign on shack, new phone bench built and countless other small items looked after.
